DAYS 39/40 - Alaska Ferry

We are on the Alaska feery headed for Prince Rupert. This is a 36 hour trip. I, of course, am in the car in the bowels of the ferry. Not much scenery here. We had 5 stops between Skagway and Prince Rupert when I get to go off and do my thing. I did leave a "deposit" in Juneau, or at least at the dock which is about 12 miles from the community. Otherwise, just left a little wet behind.
The weather was not the greatest, clouds, fog and rain by times. She couldn't see the tops of the mountains most of the way but did get a few shots of them. She saw some whales but no pictures as they were not real close and did not breach the water. She also saw some eagles and one flew right across the bow of the boat with a fish in his claws! Unfortunetely, no camera at the ready. Did get pictures of a couple in the trees - hope you can see him.
We were an hour late getting into Prince Rupert and of course the clocks went ahead so it was after 10:00pm local time by the time we were on land and looking for a motel. Got lucky and I have my own bed.
