Day 70 - Hampton Falls, NH

Continued on Route 1 today but it became a major route as we neared Providence. Of course it went right into the city and we lost it at some point. Did find the 95 so got on it to pass the city and then connected to the 1 again. Of course that brought us to Boston and again we got into the city then lost the route. Signage is not that great and of course we don't have a navigator to help with directions - and a poor map. We found route 9 going west and a quick look at the map showed it with connected with the 95 so we went west and back to the 95. We stayed on it until well past Boston. In our drive through the city we did end up near a major medical centre and in Providence we were around the legislature buildings.
Tried a couple of motels but no pets at one and a $100 deposit plus $50 fee for a pet at the other. We kept going and finally stopped at the Wakeda Campground in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire. Yes, still feels like we are going in circles. We have been in Vermont and New hampshire twice and Massachusetts three times.
This campground has about 400 sites, very nice spot just off route 1 on 88 west.
I had a new experience today as we twice crossed bridges that lift to allow boats to go through but we didn't see that happen today.
