Headed out on Highway 1 for Lake Louise. Road is pretty good. We went through three national parks today - Mt. Revelstoke, Glasier and Yoho. Then, just before Lake Louise, we connected with park road to go through Banff and Jasper National parks. That is a beautiful drive. Good road and not too many hills. Unfortunately, we did not see any wildlife during the drive but lots of mountains,lakes and trees. We finally saw this guy after we went by the gate for the park. There were a lot of tourists trying to get pictures. He would not turn around. Maybe he was making a statement on his feelings about tourists! Still, it was worth the drive!
We stopped at Whistler campground just outside Jasper for the night.
