We first headed for breakfast for her, I already had mine and then we looked for a phone so she could make a couple of calls. Her friend advised us to take route 5 (my first toll highway) instead of the TransCanada. It is a very good road - split, two, sometimes three lanes each side. Had a chance to see some of the beauty but didn't stop for pictures - no real outlook spots. A few hills were marked with grade and kms again but these were only 6% or 7% so not as bad but one was a 7 kms drive down. No wonder our ears are popping. also went through another tunnel. They drive very fast in BC. There are signs everywhere telling people to slow down and watch their distances from other cars. Not working!
We stopped at Kamloops, early day for a change as it was only about 3:00pm. We are at A Super View Motel. We have a kitchenette and two beds, my favorite kind of room!
