We had hoped to get some pictures today, we can see some spectacular mountains from the hotel, or we could last night in the rain. Unfortunately, today they are hidden in the clouds. It is overcast and we hit spots of rain along the way. We headed back towards Whitehorse, stopped at Tim's (I got my treat) and then continued on towards SKagway, Alaska. Again, the mountains are hidden in clouds. She got a few shops with the tips peeking out! As we are nearing Skagway, we start to go up a bit, we were in the clouds too. Then we started down. She could only see a few feet ahead but amybe that was good. It was a long trip down and our ears felt funny. I had to yawn a few times.
The lady at customs gave me a big bone.
We finally arrived downin the town. Lots of jewellry stores. A cruise ship is in port so lots of folks around.
We are staying at the Westmark Inn. Will be checking tomorrow to see if we can take the ferry to Prince Rupert.
