We headed for Quebec today. Didn't have any sightings but saw lots of signs warning of moose and deer. I guess the Route 185 is right through their territory. Stopped in Riviere-de-Loup at a field across from the Zellers Mall. I got to stretch mylegs and do a little grass swimming in the tall grass. My chauffeur was going to take route 132 along the St. Lawrence river but long sections wereclosed to through traffic because of construction. we had to head toward Levis on the TransCanada. Lots of big trucks and everyone goes very fast. Of course, they were all passing us. We took a bit of a brake at a field so I could do my "thing"- it was a very pretty spot over looking the St. Lawrence.
The traffic really picked up as we neared the city but we found our exit and got to theQuebec KOA with only one wrong turn. My chauffeur says she wanted to stop at the Tim Horton's anyway. The campground was very nice and the folks there were quite. There werelots of BIG RVcampers on site.

However, it is close to the main hightway and traffic goes all night. There didn't seem to be any slow down even in the middle of the night. Trucks and other traffic run all day and all night! We did go for a drive early in the evening trying to find the Pavilion at Charnybut weren't successful. Did note that I'm in Quebec, it seems the focus is on biking and part of the trail takes over a lane on the road, near our campsite, for bikers. I slept in the car again.
